History

In 2015, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange contracted Dove Stackhouse to grow out a crop of Blue Collards for seed. Upon growing the crop, Dove found half of the plants to be a consistent turnip green. She saved them, and asked a member of Southern Exposure what variety it was, and they were unaware, guessing it to be a seed cleaning accident. Dove has since referred to it as the Mystery Turnip Green.
